Recently, I learned Black Friday derives from the concept that businesses operate at a financial loss, or “in the red,” until the day after Thanksgiving.
On Black Friday, the idea is that massive holiday sales put them “in the black.”
All year they are one thing.
One day changes everything.
Clients I work with always have a story defining their work and themselves in relation to it.
Sometimes it keeps you in the red and sometimes strengthens your hold in the black.
It can change in a day.
